I really enjoy being outdoors. The clean air, the animals, the birds, the quietness of it all. It is a nice way to relax, and reflect. The hustle and bustle of life is put on hold during those times. It's nice.
When I was in the bush the other day, I saw an interesting sight - ducks in the trees. Yep, I'm not joking. They were wood ducks and they had just landed in some trees that were a little way from me. I have a video function on my camera, so I filmed them. When I got home, I called some family and friends and asked if they had ever seen ducks in trees? I got a resounding NO. However, many people had heard of this, and yes, wood duck bird houses are all over Southern Ontario.
The best way to show family and friends is YouTube. I opened an account, and finally I have joined the electronic media phenomena of YouTube. I even have my own channel now. http://www.youtube.com/user/ellistimothy
12 videos and counting are now posted. Nothing spectacular - lots of wildlife, a little motor sports, but all are original.
